Brand new from Editorial Intelligence – Blogs, e.i TV and e.i Briefing

Editorial Intelligence (e.i), the leading media business specialising in providing the definitive portal to the ‘Commentariat’ – those journalists who are increasingly influential with both policy-makers and public opinion – announces a number of exciting additions and innovations to its online services this spring:

Blogs
Start to read e.i’s ‘zeitgeist’ blog daily on the trends in Comment and Analysis. From February 2007, 50 blogs will be monitored alongside 50 print media. These include UK-based blogs such as Peston’s Picks by the BBC’s Robert Peston and global blogs such as Salon, Huffington Post and The Drudge Report.

Daily Profiles
Ever wanted to track the record of a particular commentator on the key issues of the day? Well now you can as ei captures and digests on a daily basis, summaries of what the top 300 UK national bylined commentators and selected key bloggers say in a searchable archive on our online proprietory system.

e.i Daily Briefing
Aimed at boards, media intake and forward planning desks, ei will soon launch an overnight email summary of all key opinion in the UK national media and key blogs. Arrive feeling refreshed and up to speed first thing on who is saying what, where and why.

eiTV
A new web-based regular podcast on the Commentariat launches shortly. Hosted by e.i founder and chief executive Julia Hobsbawm, eiTV will see guests including Noreena Hertz, Independent columnist Bruce Anderson, Observer columnist Mary Riddell, and New Statesman Political Editor Martin Bright provide their unique perspective on today’s issues.
