Gender Agenda
The fifth in Editorial Intelligence’s Comment Conference series, The Gender Agenda brought together key women from across all sectors to discuss the challenges, and successes that women experience in the world of work today.
The timing coincided with the aftermath of the ‘Davies Review’ recommendations for increasing the representation of women in Britain’s boardrooms. Through a programme of discussion, debates and short ‘thoughts’, attendees will tried to address the key questions and topics raised by the The Gender Agenda.

Names Not Numbers is an international thought leadership symposium which brings together opinion formers in media, academia, politics, business, culture and technology. Described by historian Niall Ferguson as being like ‘Davos... with community singing’, Names Not Numbers is held annually on three continents in partnership with global brands and speakers.
Names Not Numbers will be held in Portmeirion, Wales between the 9th & 11th March in 2012 and will examine 'What Lasts? Durability & Sustainability'.
Guests for 2012 include: Tracey Emin, Artist; Jemima Khan, Campaigner and Writer; Sir Howard Stringer, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President, Sony Corporation and Simon Walker, Director-General, Institute of Directors.
Names Not Numbers was held as a pop up event in New York in June 2011 and Mumbai in November 2011.

The Comment Awards, now in their third year, celebrate comment in all its forms- both print and online from the Commentariat across both newspapers and the blogosphere.
The Comment Awards 2011 category judges included Louise Chunn, Editor, Psychologies Magazine; Luke Johnson, Chair, RSA and Chief Executive, Risk Capital Partners; Jon Sopel, Presenter, BBC Politics Show and Baroness Shriti Vadera. The judging panel will be chaired by Harvey Goldsmith CBE.
