We are delighted that our first dining date will be on Thursday 8th September where individuals from across the eiNetwork will gather to talk, learn, gossip over fine wine and a three course meal as well as hear from the the distinguished journalist and author Lucy Ward, author of highly acclaimed new book The Empress and the English Doctor: How Catherine the Great defied a deadly Virus which has been short-listed for Pushkin Prize and praised as “A rich and wonderfully urgent work of history” by Tristram Hunt, historian and director of the V&A. The supper will take place in the newly re-opened Vasco & Piero’s Pavilion Restaurant in Soho, Central London. Each guest will receive a signed copy of Lucy’s book.
