eiLearning: Networking Skills and Classes

Corporations and individuals need to ensure that neither they, nor their workforce, are tuning out and staying in their silo, but are connecting and absorbing knowledge, building human and social capital.

Developed by the world’s first Professor in Networking, Julia Hobsbawm, Editorial Intelligence’s eiLearning programme for eiClub members, teaches the latest theories as well as how you can put what you learn into practice.  Whether it be for a top talent team at a FTSE 100, or for individuals, ei guides time-poor, information-overloaded executives to connect with the right people and the right ideas.

eiClub members or a guest of their choice, can attend each of the four rotating classes that are held at Somerset House:

  • Face to Face Networks – how to overcome shyness; how to build a portfolio of live events and meetings and where time management comes into the equation.
  • Knowledge Dashboard – overcoming information overload in a practical way; identifying what you need to know and how to know things *fast*.
  • Time Travelling – doing a diary audit to see where network and networking can/does fit; what changes need to be made at management or operational level; making some decisions about changing your diary practice by 10-15%
  • Network Science – looking at the evidence around why networks work; planning how to develop a programme internally which might shift the needle for a group; some key case studies and blueprints to work from
