Ei is looking to recruit Researchers, Analysts, Editors, and Sales and Marketing people for our expanding team. We also offer student work placements.

Researchers

Ei scours all the comment and leader pages of over 50 major UK newspapers and magazines. We are looking for experienced researchers who can work on a freelance basis from home and compile our unique profiles of the top 1,000 commentators and commissioning editors. We also fact-find for journalists about who may have stories of relevance to them amongst our PR client-base.

Analysts

Our team of analysts handle bespoke client work such as compiling detailed reports of core sections of the comment media on a particular topic. If you have good writing and analytical skills and can work to deadline (and on a spreadsheet).

Editors

Editorial Intelligence is a publisher of new journalism and analysis, both in our quarterly print journal and in reports. We need freelance sub editors as well as writers who can cover particular topics of interest – to them and to the overall e.i audience.

Sales and Marketing

We are looking for full time senior business development and sales staff in our lively office set in a converted loft in a Victorian warehouse in Archway, North London. EI sets out the growing world of commentators in the media in a unique database combined with a lively publishing and events programme

You will either have a corporate comms background, or data sales background. You will relish being in a start up, have excellent contacts in PR and media, be able to deal with senior figures in PR and the media and be interested in the challenges and rewards of being in at the start of a growing company.

Salary and benefits according to experience. You need to be:

Familiar with the nature of the product and the pressures of modern PR and Journalism.

Understand the information needs of PR and journalism organizations alike.

Able to play an active role in developing the e.i products as we prepare to launch them.
